THE DASA MEDITATION METHOD
EASY AND NATURAL TO THE BODY AND MIND
"A team of researchers from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the University of Oslo, and the University of Sydney found that "nondirective" meditation, in which someone achieves a relaxed focus of attention by repeating a mantra or sound and lets his or her mind wander, is the most effective kind of meditation." --Business Insider 2014

INTRODUCTORY LECTURE*
It is ideal to attend an introductory lecture in advance of learning the DASA method. Knowing the long list of science-backed benefits helps each student commit to his/her daily practice.
*When attending a lecture isn't an option, the teacher can provide an overview during the initial one-on-one meeting. The overview adds 1/2 hour to the initial meeting.
LEARNING THE DASA TECHNIQUE INVOLVES TWO PRIVATE TRAINING SESSIONS
SITTING POSITIONS - Sitting upright in a chair is the most preferable sitting position for comfort. Other sitting positions include the quarter lotus, the half lotus, or the full lotus. These are also effective and acceptable forms of sitting for this practice.
DASA CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS - DASA instructors are certified to teach the four-part method exactly as it was designed by the founder. Each year, instructors attend a three-day recertification training, offering the highest standard of instruction available.
